In Ephesians 2, Paul takes us from death to life, from despair to hope, with two life-changing words: But God. We were dead in our trespasses—deluded, disobedient, defiled, and doomed. Yet God, being rich in mercy and great in love, intervened. Through Christ, He made us alive, raised us up, and seated us in the heavenly places. This sermon reminds us that salvation is all of grace—not of works—so that no one may boast. We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.
