The Joy of God’s World

In this sermon from Psalm 19, Pastor Matt Schiesser continues the series Psalms for Gladness in God by showing how God’s world declares His glory. The heavens, the sun, the oceans, the mountains, the rain, the flowers, and all creation are constantly speaking — not with words, but with a witness to the greatness, joy, power, beauty, and generosity of God.

But God’s world is not God. Creation is a witness, not the Savior. It can tell us there is glory, but it cannot tell us the gospel. For that, we need the Word of God, which leads us to Christ — the One through whom and for whom all things were made.

God’s world is speaking. The question is: are we listening?
