The Joy of Home

Psalm 128 presents a beautiful picture of the blessing God gives through the ordinary life of a faithful home. The joy of home begins with the fear of the Lord, grows through the daily rhythms of work, marriage, children, meals, worship, and repentance, and is strengthened through the household’s connection to the local church.
A faithful home is not built merely for the present. Through repeated, ordinary acts of love and obedience, God uses homes to carry his blessing into future generations. Our homes are always speaking. The question is what story they are telling about God, his goodness, and his gospel.
