The Joy of God's Word

God’s world reveals his glory, but we need God’s Word to truly know him and live faithfully in his world. In Psalm 19, David shows us that Scripture is God’s own explanation of reality. It tells us what is true, forms us into mature and obedient people, and exposes the sins we cannot see in ourselves.
Yet God’s Word does not leave us condemned. It brings us to Jesus Christ—the Redeemer who makes unacceptable sinners acceptable before God. God’s Word gives joy because it tells us the truth, trains us to live faithfully, and leads us to our Redeemer
